Description
Los Angeles is the world’s capital for entertainment. Head for Hollywood for the famous sights known to all those who love movies, particularly Universal Studios Hollywood. For those that want to do some celebrity spotting, then Bel Air and Beverly Hills would be your destination. Alternatively, head to the popular beachside area of Santa Monica for a more relaxing time in this fascinating city.
As Los Angeles is such a vast city, choose a hotel close to the neighbourhood that you want to visit. We will help you make the right choice. Here is just one suggestion for a 4 day Los Angeles break.
Day 1
On arrival, transfer to your chosen hotel. The rest of the day you are free to explore the local area and decide where to eat. You will be spoilt for choice.
Day 2
Today we suggest that you join a full day tour of the city. You will visit all those places that you have seen on TV and cinema so many times: such places as Hollywood Boulevard, Mann’s Chinese Theatre, Hollywood’s Walk of Fame, Sunset Strip, Rodeo Drive and Beverly Hills. This is the Grand City Tour and Movie Stars’ Home and usually takes about 8 hours.
This is a full day and you will probably wish to relax using the facilities of your Hotel in the evening.
Day 3
Another full day of exploring how TV and Cinema come to life. This is the Universal Studios Hollywood Tour® which lasts between 8 to 10 hours and will give you a comprehensive view of this industry including backlot tour which will give you an insight to the workings of a film.
For those wanting an adrenalin rush, there are a number of rides you can undertake, such as Back to the Future – The Ride®, Backdraft® and many more. Finish the tour with cocktails or dinner in one of the venues or restaurants in the Universal CityWalk complex.
Day 4
Time to do the last minute shopping before you catch the shuttle service from your hotel out to Los Angeles International Airport and your continuing travel arrangements.

Little Gems
Include a visit to Olvera Street, known as the Birthplace of Los Angeles. The old structures, stalls, cafes and restaurants of Olvera Street preserve the customs and trades of the early days of California and many of its merchants are descended from the original vendors.
