Here is just one idea to include Yellowstone as part of your winter holiday – it could easily be added to a longer holiday to include skiing or other winter activities…

Day 1: Arrive Jackson
Arrive Jackson Hole airport then transfer by shuttle bus to your hotel in Jackson (or the ski resort Teton Village) for a 3 night stay.
Here you will have 2 full days to enjoy activities including skiing, snowboarding, skating, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling or perhaps take a horse drawn ride through the National Elk Refuge.

Day 4: Old Faithful, Yellowstone
Travel by shuttle bus to the South Entrance of Yellowstone. From here transfer by snowbus to Old Faithful Snow Lodge for a 3 night stay

During your stay take a full day tour to the “Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone” to see the Falls of the Yellowstone River, wildlife and other park wonders. Guided snowmobile, snowshoe or ski tours are all on offer from the Snow Lodge.

Day 7: Jackson
Return by snowbus and shuttle to Jackson for your final night before your onward journey.
