The “Big Apple” or “The City That Never Sleeps”; New York is one of America’s most vibrant cities and has so much to offer on so many different levels. With a choice of direct flights from the UK. New York is the perfect destination for a long weekend break or as a city experience at the beginning or end of your North American holiday. The choice of accommodation will depend on what you want to do. The options are varied; from the glamour of Upper West Side to trendy SoHo to the calm of Greenwich Village. Then there is unrivalled sight seeing with such iconic buildings as the Empire State Building, Statue of Liberty and Grand Central Station for starters. Travel from one neighbourhood to another either by subway or by infamous yellow cab.

Do not forget the shopping with stores such as Saks, Macy’s or Bloomingdales to tempt you. Here is just one idea for your New York break…

Day 1
Arrive in New York
Arrive in New York and transfer to your chosen hotel. The rest of the day you are free to explore the neighbourhood you have chosen to stay in. You will be spoilt for choice as to where you eat and what cuisine will tempt you.

Day 2
We suggest that you take the All Loops Tour and Sightseeing Option which is a 48 hour hop on and off tour that operates day and night and also incorporates the ferry trip to the Statue of Liberty (entrance fee included) and then on to Ellis Island. The Loop tour is on a double decker bus and visits all the key locations in New York, such as Central Park, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Columbia University and Harlem. How and where you go is very much up to you.

Day 3
Continue your exploration of this fascinating city, continuing to use your tour ticket. For those wanting a different view of New York, there is the Helicopter Flightseeing trip. Flight lengths vary as do the prices.

Day 4
Time to do some last minute shopping before you catch the shuttle service or take a cab from your hotel out to the International Airport for your onward travel arrangements.

Client Feedback

‘The skyline alone thrills every time I see it, I love it even though I am a country girl at heart’

‘We loved the Radio City Apartments- brilliant location and just our kind of atmosphere/style.

We had a great time at the 9/11 memorial. The museum opened in the Spring and is a total MUST for anyone visiting now.

We also pre-booked baseball, and then queued for the on the day Broadway tickets for Chicago’
