Tailor Made Holiday Travel In The USA
From stunning Rocky Mountain vistas to the white sand beaches of Malibu, the USA is host to some of the worlds most spectacular scenery. The only problem? To sample the USA in all it’s glory, people really need tailor made holiday packages designed around sampling all of the very best that America has to offer.
Of course, even tailor-made holidays can’t take in America in absolutely all its glory. However, there are a few unmissable places of interest in the USA which anyone who does plan on visiting would be wise to incorporate into their sightseeing schedule.
The Grand Canyon
At one mile deep, eighteen miles wide and over 227 miles in length, the Grand Canyon is just one of several of Americas must-see natural wonders. Often surprised by the sheer abundance of colour as well as the surreal contours which the Colorado River has left in the wake of its carving through the canyon, the area is a must for anyone in search of unmatched natural scenery and awe-inspiring panoramas.
Yellowstone National Park
Created as the world’s very first national park in 1872, Yellowstone national park is home to over half of all the worlds combined surface level geothermic features. This being the case, although ‘Old Faithful’ is perhaps the most iconic geyser in the world, many visitors are surprised to learn that Yellowstone is actually home to no less than 10’000 such geothermal water features. However, Yellowstone isn’t just home to spectacular geology. Black bears, grizzly bears, deer, elk, various bird species, bison, and wolves are all native to the park, inhabiting 3,500 square miles of untouched wilderness.
New York
Lastly, although big city life isn’t for everyone, New York is unarguably America’s (and perhaps even the whole world’s) most iconic urban center. From Time Square to the Stature of Liberty, it’s hard not to find a reason to take a bite out of the Big Apple, especially if you’re passing through the area anyway. However, New York State isn’t just about the Big Apple. From Bear Mountain State Park to Niagara Falls, New York State is actually just as scenic as Arizona and Wyoming and is definitely worth exploring as part of any and all kinds of American east coast adventure experiences.
