Experience the neon lights, and have a flutter at the Casinos in this Las Vegas itinerary.

[wptabs style=”wpui-dark” mode=”horizontal”]

[wptabtitle] Summary[/wptabtitle] [wptabcontent]

Las Vegas

Probably the world’s best known city of entertainment situated in the Nevada desert and a vision of neon lights in the dark desert night. The non-stop gambling is the original reason for the growth of this city, but star-filled shows, the most up to date night clubs and shopping malls offer many other forms of entertainment. Las Vegas is also a great starting point for visiting South West America.

Day 1: Arrive in Las Vegas and transfer to your hotel.
Day 2: There is so much to do in Las Vegas and around about.
Day 3: Today you could take a more down to earth adventure trip
Day 4 :Depending on your onward arrangements, you may have time to undertake a final shopping expedition prior to your continuing travel plans.

Description

Probably the world’s best known city of entertainment situated in the Nevada desert and a vision of neon lights in the dark desert night. The non-stop gambling is the original reason for the growth of this city, but star-filled shows, the most up to date night clubs and shopping malls offer many other forms of entertainment. Las Vegas is also a great starting point for visiting South West America.

Here are some suggestions for a 3 night break in Vegas:-

Day 1
Arrive in Las Vegas and transfer to your hotel. We have a choice to suit everyone’s taste and budget. You will have the rest of the day to either relax or start your exploration of the city. Las Vegas has a host of eating places; you will be spoilt for choice.

Day 2
There is so much to do in Las Vegas and around about. Once you have had your fill of exploring the city you could consider taking a three hour fixed wing flight over the west rim of the Grand Canyon, Lake Mead, Hoover Dam and the Colorado River. Or alternatively, take the longer and more expensive helicopter ride which includes these sights and landing in the Grand Canyon itself. This trip finishes with a flight over the Strip. For your evening entertainment, we can make suggestions and book tickets in advance for the popular shows.

Day 3
Today you could take a more down to earth adventure trip with Pink Jeep to either the west rim of the Canyon or a longer day to Death Valley. Both these excursions are packed with fascinating stops and will leave you with a better appreciation of the stark beauty of this hard land.

Day 4
Depending on your onward arrangements, you may have time to undertake a final shopping expedition prior to your continuing travel plans.

Little Gems

There are helicopter trips and helicopter trips, but for something really special in Vegas, how about an after dark helicopter flight down the Strip

Description

Combine the beauty of the Ontario and Québec countryside with the cosmopolitan atmosphere of Toronto and Montréal.  Go Zip Lining across the 272ft high Montmorency Falls, Jet-boating on the Lachine Rapids, see the Great Blue Whale on a whale-watching cruise from Tadoussac. Enjoy winter sport at its best, with snowmobile trails, dogsledding, snow rafting, snowshoeing and snowboarding – plus skiing in the world-class resorts of Tremblant and Charlevoix. Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto and Quebec City all make superb weekend break destinations and all are linked by a good rail network if you do not want to drive all the time.  For some excellent shopping opportunities, Montreal and Toronto both boast underground walkways – especially good if using this as a Christmas shopping trip and are not keen on the cold.

Day 1: Arrive Montréal
Sightseeing includes St Patrick’s Cathedral, the Biodome, the Botanical Garden, Mont Royale, Notre Dame and the old Waterfront.
Two nights Montréal

Day 3: North Hatley
Drive south towards the border with Vermont, USA. The surrounding countryside with lakes and small villages is reminiscent of New England. Late September and early October offers dazzling displays of red and gold as the maple and the aspen don their autumn colours.
Two nights North Hatley

Drive to Québec City overlooking the St. Lawrence. Old walled Québec has Montmartre-style narrow streets and pavement cafes. Sights include the Citadel, the Plains of Abraham and the shrine of St Anne de Beaupre. The majestic Chateau Frontenac reigns supreme on the turreted skyline of Old Québec.
Two nights Québec City

Day 7: Laurentians
Drive the north shore of the St. Lawrence Seaway skirting Montreal. The scenic Laurentian Mountains are stunning in autumn.
Two nights Mont Tremblant

Day 9: Ottawa
Drive to Ottawa – Canada’s capital. See the Byward Market, Parliament Building, and the National Art Gallery. White water rafting is available nearby for the more energetic.
One night Ottawa

[wptabtitle] Little Gems[/wptabtitle] [wptabcontent]

Little Gems

For city enthusiasts, Quebec City is the jewel of this itinerary.  Its fairy-tale skyline, old city walls and associated history make this a must do.  Save your visit for the winter months and pretty Petit Champlain transforms into a twinkly snow covered scene – straight out of the movies.

Client Feedback

We had a fantastic time in Canada. We saw and experienced so much that I hardly know where to start. The hotels were top class (!)  Highlights were Niagara Falls, the wildlife (bears, beavers and whales in the wild, plus the ones at the Biodome in Montreal), Quebec, the botanical gardens at Montreal (absolutely superb!). All the arrangements worked perfectly. Only once did things threaten to go off plan when there was a fire alarm at our hotel in Ottawa and everyone had to evacuate. Fortunately we had packed early and were about to leave anyway, so we made a quick exit down the fire escape with our cases and made it in plenty of time for our train and limo.

Thank you very much for organising such a wonderful holiday!

‘The skyline alone thrills every time I see it, I love it even though I am a country girl at heart’

‘We loved the Radio City Apartments- brilliant location and just our kind of atmosphere/style.

We had a great time at the 9/11 memorial. The museum opened in the Spring and is a total MUST for anyone visiting now.
