Did you know July 1st is Canada Day? The national day of Canada is a celebration of the anniversary of the enactment of the British North America Act 1867 which united three colonies into a single country.
This holiday is celebrated in lots of different ways but usually include several outdoor public events such as parades, carnivals, barbecues, air shows, fireworks and free music concerts, with all these celebrations taking place it makes Canada a great place to visit this time of year.
However if you didn’t manage to get over there this year you can always join in the celebrations in London’s Trafalgar Square, the location of Canada House, here you will find Canadian performers, visual artists and a street hockey tournament among other activities.
