Description

From the keen golfer to the casually interested, Cape Town and the surrounding area has so much to offer. And whether you play as a club or society member, or are simply keen to travel with a small group of friends, we can tailor your holiday to suit you. Here is just one itinerary idea…

Day 1: Arrive Cape Town
Arrive into Cape Town set against the stunning backdrop of Table Mountain. Arrive in the morning; if you wish there will be time to enjoy an orientation tour of the city perhaps taking in the V&A Waterfront, the Company’s Garden, Camps Bay and the city centre.

Day 2: Royal Cape Golf Club
Your first golfing experience in your holiday at the Cape will be at the Royal Cape Golf Club. In the afternoon, visit the windswept UN World Heritage Site Robben Island; famous for having been the prison in which Nelson Mandela spent much of his 27 years of incarceration.

Day 3: Erinvale Golf Estate
You will be transferred to the Erinvale Golf Estate outside Somerset West. Play a round of golf. From here, you will continue on a guided tour through the heart of the Winelands, Stellenbsoch, set against the cool slopes of the Helderberg mountains.

Day 4: Clovelly Golf Course
You will be transferred to the Clovelly Golf Course for a round of golf. Then, continue along the False Bay coast through Fish Hoek and Simon’s Town, toward Cape Point, where you can see the Cape of Good Hope. Journey back to Cape Town via Scarborough, the scenic Chapman’s Peak Drive, Hout Bay, Llandudno and Camps Bay.

Day 5: Steenberg Golf Estate
Transfer to the Steenberg Golf Estate for a round of golf.

Day 6: Arabella Golf Course
You will be transferred to the Arabella Golf Course, a scenic 90 minutes’ drive from Cape Town taking you over the mountainous Sir Lowry’s Pass. After your round of golf, continue to Hermanus. At the right time of year you may see Southern Rights breaching and floating on the sea, their backs reflecting the sunlight. Drive back via the scenic coastal road of Clarence Drive.

Day 7: Depart Cape Town
Return to the airport and fly home.
