There are so many attractions throughout the USA that deciding where to go first (or subsequently) can be an issue. Then deciding how to make the most of the Parks and cities is the next problem.
Well, if you enjoy hiking/guided walks through some of America’s most stunning scenery, we have found a company that specialises in small group tours that takes you deep in to the National Parks. The groups have a maximum of 11 and will go with a minimum of 4 walkers.
This itinerary has you exploring Yosemite, Bryce Canyon, Zion, Grand Canyon, Monument Valley and San Francisco city with your tour starting in Las Vegas. While the walks are between 3 to 6 hours long and classed as easy to moderate, for those wanting a tough challenge there is the chance to hiking in to the Grand Canyon and trek to the top of half Dome in Yosemite to add to your challenge. Because the groups are small the daily itineraries are flexible to your requirements.
The tour stays in good tourist class hotels located either in the National Parks or close to the entrance and it is half board for the 13 night journey.
Not included, but certainly worth considering are opportunities to raft the Colorado River, horse back ride in to Bryce Canyon, helicopter fly over the Grand Canyon and Jeep tours in Monument Valley with a Navajo guide.
This tour ends in San Francisco where you will have guided walks of the city.
All of this from a price of £1700 per person excluding flights.
