Grizzly Bears and all things Canadian….

With the prime grizzly bear viewing in parts of western Canada just around the corner, some of our favourite lodges still have some last minute availability.
One example is Tweedsmuir Park Lodge, in the Bella Coola Valley is a classic Canadian wilderness resort set on 60 acres of private land within British Columbia’s largest protected Provincial Park. Arrive by ferry, car or flight from Vancouver and spend time enjoying some of the many outdoor activities on offer as well as the Grizzly bear viewing.
If this year is short notice, then now is the time to begin thinking of booking for prime Grizzly Bear viewing during prime season next year – the lodges fill up quickly.

This brings us on to all things Canadian, and recently released early booking discounts for summer 2014 reservations have just been announced. A multitude of hotels have some fantastic offers for booking early in the coming months. Imagine meandering through the beautiful Canadian Rocky Mountains at your leisure and spending time on the Rocky Mountaineer train on your holiday of a lifetime to western Canada; see the thundering Niagara Falls, have a water based family adventure in Algonquin Provincial Park and stroll through the quaint and very French influenced old town of Quebec City on your holiday in eastern Canada; A place like no other, journey around Newfoundland or see some of the highest tides in the world from Nova Scotia and New Brunswick – Atlantic Canada has a little for all tastes. These are just a few ideas to tempt you with.
