Great Time to go to Namibia
Namibia has always been a wonderful destination but the current strength of the Pound has made it a perfect time to go. Price is a good reason to consider Namibia, but here are some much better reasons:
1. The wildlife is extraordinary and usually set in stunning settings. Seeing Oryx climbing the sides of a giant dune, watching the heads of giraffe appear in the shimmering heat of the Etosha Salt Pan or getting up close and personal with a seal on a boat trip around Walvis Bay are just some of the opportunities you will encounter. The Namibian Wildlife authorities have also opened up the Western area of Etosha National Park which gives you the chance to explore a pristine area of wildlife which is still of most people’s agenda.
2. The geography and scenery of Namibia is often breath taking and compliments the wildlife experiences. With some of the world’s highest sand dunes in the Namib Desert, the Fish River Canyon (second largest in the world), the harsh semi desert and mountains of Damaraland and the lush green of the river areas in the Caprivi Strip ensures that you have plenty of variety.
3. Finally and the most important reason to go is the hospitality and interesting cultural differences of the Namibian people. Meeting the San and Himba people and learning about their life styles is both rewarding and exciting. Meeting people who have not compromised their way of life to the modern way is fascinating. Everyone is keen to ensure that tourists to their country have the best of times, so they will come back again. This ensures the best quality of Lodges, meals and guides are on hand to ensure your trip to Namibia is truly one of your best holidays ever.
