Yukon Highlights
In this self-drive itinerary we introduce you to the fascinating land that is Canada’s Yukon before dipping into Alaska’s south-west corner. Although seeming so far away, it is in fact easily accessible; the capital city, Whitehorse is just over 2 hours away from the gateway cities of Vancouver, Edmonton and Calgary.

Belugas, Birds and Blooms
Throughout July and August, Churchill springs to life. With the break up of the ice on Hudson Bay over 3,000 beluga whales summer in the Churchill River estuary to feed and mate. Summer is the perfect time to visit the area and this itinerary offers beluga whale watching in addition to magnificent summer wildlife such as caribou, arctic fox and ptarmigan…
Yukon Winter
From November to April, snow turns Yukon into a winter playground; dog mushing, snow-mobiling, cross country skiing and simply relaxing and waiting for the Northern Lights show to begin. This short itinerary could be combined with some downhill skiing in BC or Alberta to give the perfect winter holiday.
